Local Traders and Sponsors

P&F – Loyalty arrangements with Local Traders- Please support them!

Did you know that several traders provide GPS with benefits in recognition of the business they enjoy from GPS families?  Most traders donate the benefit to GPS, others provide the benefit in the form of a discount to GPS parents. Please support the following businesses.  Their support provides GPS with funds that contribute to P&F projects or goods that are used at P&F events and other school activities (e.g. bread and sausages).

Aussie Farmers Direct

Oz Farmers logo$ donation to GPS for every family that signs up and an additional $10 donation to GPS for every family continuing with the promotion after 6 months. More Information: Aussie Farmers Information

 

 

Brumbies (temporarily being provided by Brumby’s Camberwell due to Brumby’s Glenferrie rd store fire)

  • 15% of sales donated to school (usually as an in-kind donation)
  • parents need to tell them that they are a GPS parent, their name and child’s grade

Commonwealth Bank Commission

  • $5.00 for each children’s bank account opened through school plus 5% of each individual deposit capped at $10
  • Parent volunteers organised by Jane James collate and bank money
  • NB merchant fees are charged on credit card payments which reduce the GPS donation – if possible please pay cash.

 Donate $20 to school for every new membership from GPS parents. Parents need to state that they are GPS parents when they join

  • 15% off mealsand15% off fresh bread and pastries
  • Parents must advise that they are GPS parents before ordering

Fat Tulip – 529 Glenferrie Road, Hawthorn

Fat Tulip 10% discount off flowers (excluding giftware and delivery fees).  Parents must advise that they are GPS parents when ordering

 

 

Glenferrie Gourmet Meats

  • Usually provide payment in kind e.g. free sausages for fundraising BBQ’s etc.
  • Parents need to mention that they are GPS parents

Graphic Impressions

  • %5 of sales to GPS and 5% discount to purchaser
  • Parents need to state that they are GPS parents

Hawthorn Photographic

  • 1% of sales donated as in kind contribution to school upon request
  • Parents need to mention that they are GPS parents

IGA Both the Burwood Rd/Power Rd corner and Riversdale Rd/Glenferrie Rd corner stores

  • Approximately 1% of sales from receipts donated to school  
  • Parents can place receipts in the marked box on the top of the teachers pigeon holes outside the GPS office
